Giving to Duquesne

Built by Gifts. Sustained by Gifts.

The Spiritans who founded Duquesne University had few tangible assets. More than 135 years later, their institution has become one of America's great Catholic universities. The legacy of our past remains the core of our mission and identity, with our blessings now multiplied by the generosity of alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff.

Tuition and fees only account for about 85 percent of the expenses incurred in providing our distinctive education for the mind, heart and spirit. Most of the rest comes from gifts ranging in size from a few dollars to millions.

Every gift - for any purpose and in any amount - makes a difference.

Give Now

We encourage you to make an annual gift to The Duquesne Fund, providing immediately expendable support for the things that make a Duquesne education something more than the ordinary.

You may also wish to consider a wide range of options for Major and Planned Giving, including named and endowed gifts with a long-term impact.

All gifts directly benefit students while elevating the University's reputation. Alumni giving participation is factored into an institution's placement in national rankings. As more graduates give, and Duquesne's rating rises, the professional and personal value of every degree increases.

What's more, strong support from established constituencies - those who have already been touched by Duquesne - encourages new individuals and organizations to invest as well.
